Mariachi Real de Alvarez was founded in 2012 by brothers Julio Alvarez (then 22 years old) and Julio J. Alvarez (then 17 years old), both brothers have been immersed in the world of music since they were just five years old and have a deep understanding of Mexican folklore and traditional music. Breaking international boundaries in 2009 they moved from their home country and settled roots in Fort Worth, Texas. Just three years after they created their very own Mariachi band.
Together they have the expertise in Mexican folklore and traditional music thanks to their very extense musical background.
Mariachi Real de Alvarez has gained international recognition and has worked with big brands such as Disney Parks, taking part in the global song "it's a small world" 50th Anniversary Global Chorus, Netflix in "The queen of the south" featuring Yancey Arias, They've also collaborated with well-known artists such as country artist Wade Bowen and performed for former Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay featured in "The Washington Times" and remarked celebrities like Mark Wahlberg and politicians such as Senator Jim Inhofe, former Fort worth Mayor Betsy Price, current Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker, among many others.
Mariachi Real de Alvarez has performed at a variety of events ranging from weddings and Quinceañeras to baby showers and funerals to private gatherings of big corporations such as Oak Farms Dairy. They've also worked closely with universities, educational districts, churches, foundations, senior living facilities, funeral homes, and small businesses.
